I could dedicate this whole post towards my ranting, however i won't. Firstly, I have to congratulate all those who managed to obtain medals. It is always a joy to see fellow teammates doing their best and achieving what others could never obtain. Secondly, i would like to congratulate all those who didn't managed to obtain a medal. You've finished the race with pride and honour, not giving up even though you were behind. All of you have definitely shown what NYPkayaker's are all about.
To my dearest partner, all our trainings together were awesome. A great learning point of my life too. Through all the hardship and pain that we've been through, we were blessed with a loss today. Not because we enjoy losing, but it's because it's a stepping stone for us. Through losing, we learnt much more. Through losing we've managed to see our weakness. Through losing, we've managed to experience failure. And thanks for being so understanding and patient with me. For that, a big thank you!! Sorry for letting you down today.
Little rebe bought 10 packs of Kinder Bueno for me just to cheer me up. She also wanted to surprise me at night too, however her plan failed. Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?
My goals have changed for the year. Some minor adjustments are: Build up as fast as possible. Obtain a weight of 70 kg by the end of the year.
