Space and some freedom is needed! I swear you're trying to control me as if I'm a effing 5 year old or something. Just chill out and relax, we all need a break from the hectic lives we're in. It's a real shame that you used sarcasm when you talk to me. You're starting to step on my toes, so just a gentle reminder, back off abit. I know what I'm doing and what is needed. Besides, isn't this week supposed to be rest week?!
Golly, i think I'm going kind nuts about certain stuff. Luckily, there is an extra week of holiday due to the H1N1 scare all around Singapore.
This week was pretty fun i would say. Besides the mad rush of project meetings, we still found time to just have fun. Tuesday we went to Darren's house for an awesome BBQ and stay over. Food was awesome and guitar heroes for the whole night was just the BOMB! Wednesday was clubbing with the kayakers. I have to say, it was fun... with hands in the air and legs moving like there's no tomorrow, we were pp..p...p....parrrrtying! Thursday was transformers with point 4. Awesome meeting up with them again, i really miss the secondary 4 days. Great movie and a good time just chilling out.
Sadly, i never ever get the picture, so i can't upload any now. However, if it ever comes my way, I'll put it up immediately!

I could dedicate this whole post towards my ranting, however i won't. Firstly, I have to congratulate all those who managed to obtain medals. It is always a joy to see fellow teammates doing their best and achieving what others could never obtain. Secondly, i would like to congratulate all those who didn't managed to obtain a medal. You've finished the race with pride and honour, not giving up even though you were behind. All of you have definitely shown what NYPkayaker's are all about.
To my dearest partner, all our trainings together were awesome. A great learning point of my life too. Through all the hardship and pain that we've been through, we were blessed with a loss today. Not because we enjoy losing, but it's because it's a stepping stone for us. Through losing, we learnt much more. Through losing we've managed to see our weakness. Through losing, we've managed to experience failure. And thanks for being so understanding and patient with me. For that, a big thank you!! Sorry for letting you down today.
Little rebe bought 10 packs of Kinder Bueno for me just to cheer me up. She also wanted to surprise me at night too, however her plan failed. Oh well, it's the thought that counts right?
My goals have changed for the year. Some minor adjustments are: Build up as fast as possible. Obtain a weight of 70 kg by the end of the year.

It's just 3 days away, and I'm so pumped up about it. SWIF, although a small race, it's still important to me. During the race, i just want to give it my all, reserve no energy within me. I'm going to break my limits. Thank goodness i have my secret weapon behind me, what i like to refer to as my "Nitro". Kelvin is just a strong ass wipe. Most of all, i do not want to let him down. Win or lose, it's fine with me, as long as i know I've done my best.
To all my lovely teammates, i would like to wish you all the best for your race. Be it NCC or SWIF, give it your 110%. We've trained so hard and too long to let it go to waste. So on that day, break our limits and do NYP sprint kayaking proud. This is our time, to prove ourselves that we are no underdogs, but a serious threat to anyone who takes us lightly. We'll break their confidence when we row, and destroy their ego when we take the lead and leave them in our back wash. Even if we lose out, we'll finish the race with pride and honour with our heads still high as we know we've done our best. Just a quote to remember," Pain is weakness escaping the body." So let it all out to become the strongest you can be. All the best team!

It's been 2 months since the PA race, and now, water fest! I somehow don't feel as prepared as i did 2 months ago, however, after Wednesday's training, I'm feeling much better. Improvement can be seen and felt. I just hope that the remaining time left would be sufficient for us to be at our tip top performance. Whatever it is, knowing that we did our best on that day is enough.
Holidays are at last here! However, i don't know why i can't feel the real joy and excitement of it all. I guess it's because holiday in poly is just another term for, self study. 3 projects on hand and a ICA after the holidays. Wow, gonna be real fun. This holiday, i plan upgrade myself. Completing my holiday homework for Ms Corrie, getting the projects over and done with and also, self studying. Also, i have to train really hard and give it 200% for every training. It's only slightly more than a week till water fest.
Ending the school term in a good note, i got myself 25/30 for business finance!!! I'm quite hyped up about the whole thing, however, it's only 15%. So i will strive harder for the next few ICA's and Exam.
Yesterday was Rebe and Kunnaye's 2 years and 4 months anniversary. Sadly, we couldn't meet due to my hectic schedule. Golly, what a bummer indeed. However, Rebe's presence could be felt the whole day :) Oh well, I'm going to make it up to her in the afternoon. Sakae buffet!!! Awesome, i can't wait to stuff myself with seafood and Japanese rice.
Well, it's getting really late and I've to let my stress little heart and mind to rest. Night ya'll!

ICA's are all over at last! Hip hip hooray! However, poly life isn't so kind. During the holidays, we have 2 nice projects to attend to and also, a written paper right after the holidays. Golly, just when i thought it was all over!
21st June spells out, "WATER FEST". My next up coming race with Kelvin. We haven't been training much together, but I'm sure we'll be able to pick up during these remaining 2 weeks. We have to push ourselves all the way. There is no room for slacking or giving up. That's the price we would have to pay in order to even have the glimpse of hope of a desired goal.
Today i met conrad "buffydaddy" lee. Gym, ate dinner together and also a good catch up. He even watched me cut my hair! Ha ha, it's really short and all now, but i guess it's alright. I kind of miss the days i was in ACS(I). The things we did and also all the bonding times we had. However, time waits for no man, and here we are.
I can't wait to meet my little rebe. Missing here a lot these days, especially when she acts cute over the phone. Oh well, Friday! Sakae sushi buffet! Awesome!
Tomorrow's a special day :)
