I think this could be one of the happiest moments in my life! Although it might not be such a big thing to professionals as they could easily attain it, winning 3rd in a k boat race was awesome! A big thank you to you my
ppjlb partner, Kelvin. Thanks for being my
nitro booster and awesome coordination. Also, a big thank you to all those people who taught us and made us improve over the short period of 1 month.
Today's race started off with a awesome start, leading for the front part of the race. Good
maintenance and good balance paid off. However, although the last part took placed with some difficulty with balancing,
I'm glad it didn't affect us that much. We continued and finished the remaining distance with full force. At least bro, we know our true position. However, it just goes to show that anything can happen. Because, i shit you not my friend, we have lots more to improve on. But for now, cheers!
With reference to my previous post, i
aimed to obtain a medal for kayaking. Thank you lord for really helping me with that goal today. I'm sure without you, things would have been so different. Therefore, in the lord i trust, i will be strong when he's with me. Thanks to
rebe too! She was such a great comforter and motivator. Always telling me i could when i felt at my lowest. Love you lots!
On the other hand, tomorrow will be the start of school. Golly, i so dread school. However, life goes on. At least there is something to look forward to. That's the junior batch! I wonder how it'll be... till then!

H is for HAPPY! I'm so relief about the whole thing. Kelvin and I are in for the k2 race! It's straight finals and we're in an imaginary lane 8. I'm filled with excitement and joy. Thanks coach and
luqman for helping us get in. You've take a ton of load of our backs.
Today while i crashed Conrad's lecture,
I've discovered a new wonder. Well not really new, more of going back in to the past.
NEOPETS! I created an account and was so lucky to obtain a limited pet. Conrad was so jealous.
Hee hee... But i couldn't do much with the new account because i needed to play for at least 48 hours till i could go collect free stuff. I met so many people today! Starting with Conrad then
Yvelyn and after the lecture, Cheryl and Edwin and Addie (Conrad's friend) and Celene, ending it off with Claudia in town! So amazing!
Somehow, although i want to tell you more,
I'm just so
damn lazy to do so. Hence till next time!

I'm seriously very worried. No word has come back to me about the upcoming race. In a way,
I'm destroyed within, training so hard for it and yet, a possibility of not being able to compete. A huge wave of
insecurity has hit kelvin and myself, and it's so hard to keep positive. Please Lord, answer my prayers!

My heart skipped a beat awhile ago. Suddenly, panic and tension grew within the atmosphere. The finalised list for events of the upcoming PA race was out, and kelvin and myself are no where to be found in our k2 event. Phone calls and desperate
MSN conversations took place as we all awaited what could be done. The worst part is, we have to wait till tomorrow morning to find out if it was a mistake. Insomnia could be
fore casted for the night ahead. Sigh... If it is no mistake and nothing could be done, all our hard work, pain and sweat was for nothing. Especially time, which is not on our side at all. It's just a week till PA and this had to happen. I pray for the best!
On a much lighter note, my k1 list is out. Heat 1 lane lane 5 spelled anxiety. My body is still pumping with adrenaline and butterflies seem to be in my stomach. Although i don't know how good and skilled my competitors are, i just have to expect the very best out of them. By doing so,
I'll prepare for the worst and hence, train much harder. I must do my best throughout the race. Starting burst,
maintenance and final burst. I must whack all out.
It's now or never...

Oh no! Once again I'm in a serious financial problem. I guess the world wide economic situation has hit me too. Sigh, too bad i ain't a rich little brat who could get anything he wanted with just a snap of his fingers. Oh well, i guess I'll just have to live with kun, the poor little brat who gets nothing even though he snaps his fingers. Sniffle sniffle...
On a much better note, yesterday was 2 years 2 months anniversary! Ha ha, awesome! Sweet little Rebe came down to my house in the wee hours of the morning (10am) and greeted me with a nice big smile! We had and sumptuous lunch and then headed down to the grand Cathay. I so love the cinema there, it's huge and the seats are so comfortable. Anyway, yesterday was the first time watching 2 movies in a day with my little Rebe. We watched shinjuku incident at 2pm and confessions of a shopaholic at 7.30. In between we had expensive billy bombers but a great time playing, "guess that friend!" Okay, so the game basically goes like this. We think of a friend that both of us knows, describe that friend in 3 words and then wait for the the person to guess. It's superbly fun and a great way to kill time and have a great laugh at it as well. In all, yesterday was indeed a GOOD Friday.
To miss foo-to-be, i love you lots. Even though some times you make my faint heart hurt, you colour my world with love. When you're away from me, the world suddenly feels cold and dull, but when you're next to me, the world is like candy land! We've gone through it all, fights, arguments and even break ups. However, we've always given in to each other after that. You are like my Santa clause, just without a beard, tummy and a dick. You buy me candy almost all the time and take care of me when i starve without money. Thank you darling! Although you always put ugly pics of me on your blog. I LOVE YOU! I LUV EUUUXZX! I LURB YOU! I HEART YOU! I <3 YOU!

Also, today's training has been a rather good one. I feel that kelvin and I did well today. Although it was off to a bad start, we eventually picked up and did better and better for the next few sets. We must keep this up if we even want to stand a chance during PA race. K1 today was quite good too, although the water was really heavy, i managed to push myself to my limits. Feeling tired after every set. However, I'm still far from Jun Wei and Alfred. I need to push even harder during trainings if i want to catch up to their standards. All in all, the whole team is improving. Everyone is giving their 150% during trainings, and it's in fact quite nice to see. When we as individuals do our part, the team as a whole will rise. Since i miss doing the cheer... NYP KAYAKING!!! WOOOSH!!

Training after training after training. Golly... i think my body is going to break down any time soon. I can't imagine how Marcus does it, it's insane! He's doing like rowing in the morning and gym in the afternoon. Told you, he's mad!
On the other hand, training has really done me some good. I can feel myself improving with my starting burst, long hard pulls and final burst. Also, improvement with kelvin. Although we're still shaky sometimes, I'm very sure we can do well for our race.
Today's lunch was pretty awesome. Not because of the food, but because of the 30% discount! It's so awesome when you eat so much and get any possible meal and only pay around 10 for pastamania! Well, kelvin kind of knows some people who work there, so he was able to pull some strings here and there for us. Yum yum... If I'm not wrong, the discount amounted to around $20. See how much we saved!
Sadly, i don't know why I'm so unlucky this past 2 days. Yesterday i was minding my own business, walking to the shed when suddenly... a stupid bird released its waste on my head. ARGH!! I mean, WTF! I was so pissed for around 5 mins, as i had to wash that disgusting stuff off my head. Today, while i was rowing, i capsized. Guess what, i lost my shades! I'm so unlucky. I hope nothing happens tomorrow, i really hope, in fact i pray nothing happens tomorrow.
Just a random quote, because i found it quite interesting. "Silence is like a double edged sword. It's peaceful and yet deafening."

Firstly, good job Mr. Captain Luqman! You're doing good as a new captain, keep it up. Just remember the points that were told to you on how to improve and you'll become a better leader.
Gym trainings on Mondays are getting more and more intense with the upcoming PA race. Pushing ourselves mentally and physically, just to keep the hope of winning alive. Every time our body tells us we can't go on, we put our minds over the pain, eventually pushing harder and becoming stronger. Just hope that all this pays off during PA race. If we lose, it's still ok, because we've done our best and there is no point regretting. Failure only makes one stronger and more determined. Sea trainings are also becoming more intense. All I can say is, awesome! With sea trainings being this intense, i can see that everyone is improving. NYP spirit, don't ask questions, just WHACK!
Quote taken from Prentice,"Pain is weakness escaping the body."
I've decided to set targets for this year.
1) To become at least 70kg
2) To be on par as the seniors or even faster
3) To keep the competitive spirit high
4) Win medals
5) Regain honour to NYP SPRINT KAYAKING TEAM!
I really hope my team and i can obtain the last target.

Anyway, rebe the smarty pants got top in level for mcq physics, congrats! Knew you were a smart little girl. Haha, continue to strive hard baby! Obtain the best possible results for A levels and all the best for your PW results on Thursday.

Much love to you! <3

The future is complicating in every single way. Nothing can be 100% confirmed until it actually happens or takes place. I just came back from my kayaking chalet. Weeks before this chalet, we were planning and trying to make sure the chalet goes our way. However, back then we thought we didn't have to go training on Saturday and that the chalet was far from every place. So much of our planning and brain storming was not executed during the chalet. Then again, it was pretty good. Kelvin introduced the new version of RISK to us. It was a bomb playing and just back stabbing one another. i rate RISK 4 stars! Haha, a great time killer game.
Passing down ceremony was held last night and i have to say it was not what a lot of us expected. However, I'm sure everything takes place for a reason. No matter what, we're a team, NYP sprint kayaking team. Distractions and conflicts aside, we as individuals must fight for our team sake. To regain respect, and make others fear us as competitors. We must strive to make our team known as one of the strongest. I hope for your team this coming year would be that we strive together and reclaim what was lost last year. The only way i know how we can do it, is to work together, pushing each other to beyond our limits and bond as a team. Because there is no I in Team, we must do this together.
Anyway, results for 09/10 committee
Captain: Luqman
Female Captain: Ai Sing
Vice-Captain: Me (Kun)
Female Vice-Captain: Joyce
Treasurer: Kelvin
Logistics: Yee Keng
Secretary: Sherlyna
On another note, we're back! Reun as one whole package again :)
Oh yea, PA race is coming up soon and just thinking about it makes my adrenaline pump throughout my body. I'm taking part in K1 and K2 with kelvin as my new and first partner! For me to obtain good results for the race, I've to train harder for water trainings. Pushing myself even though my body tells me to quit and also, land training. Building up my strength would definitely bring me to the next level. Hopefully my mass gainer would be able to aid and speed up my muscle growth. Oh well... To all that is taking part in PA race, all the best! Lets own this shit!
