SCM was a total bummer. I'm just feeling lousy about the whole thing. I know shit like capsizing happens but i still can't let it go. Thanks to those who have comforted me. Well, the whole organization of SCM was total bull! From the start to the end. But, let bygones be bygones.
A big congrats to all who have won medals, you all deserve every bit of it! To all those that didn't manage to obtain a medal, strive for greatness! Improvement is endless.
Things I've told myself after the race:
I'm not alone, many more have not won a medal this day.
I've not left empty handed, in fact, I've gained precious experience.
Why let this destroy my day, it's just the beginning of my kayaking life.
Everyone has to start somewhere, this is it.
